Mainly on my sonos, but also on the iPhone and iPad apps. The music keeps cutting in and out with some tracks not playing at all with 'unable to connect to spotify' etc. Not only that, but sometimes, it will find a track to play, by which time I want to shut the app down, and the music continues to play for a few minutes. Disable Voice Control in the Sonos app. From the Settings tab, tap Services and select Amazon Alexa under Voice. Select the voice-enabled speaker from the list of Sonos Products, and tap Remove Alexa. Log out of all Amazon Apps on the mobile device, including the Amazon app, Alexa app and Amazon.com in your mobile browser. Uninstall the iOS App. Tap and hold on the Sonos app until icons are shaking and tap the 'X'. Tap Delete to Uninstall the app. Uninstall the Android App. Tap and hold on Sonos Controller app and slide/drag to Uninstall. Hi Sonos Cohorts! I am running the Spotify desktop app on Windows and I have found that the display does not update and it appears to just stop working (I can't pause or change songs). Here is an example - I browse to Your Daily Drive. Spotify displays 'Its Thursday' s the first track, but it's Tuesday.

To see if your TV supports the Spotify app, go to the app store on your TV and search for Spotify. If your TV isn't listed, you can upgrade it with a soundbar or streamer that supports Spotify Connect.

Play directly from the TV app
If the Spotify TV app isn’t working for you:
- Make sure your TV is connected to the internet.
- Check your internet connection is strong. Try playing something else to test it.
- Check your TV app store for any updates to the Spotify app.
- Check your TV's software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with the manufacturer for how to check and update the version software.
- Check your TV is supported by Spotify. You can check this at Spotify Everywhere or with the device’s manufacturer.
Still not working?
- Restart your TV.
- Restart your WiFi.
- Delete the Spotify app, then reinstall it onto your TV.
- If possible, try a different WiFi connection.

Play from a phone or tablet
If Spotify Connect isn’t working for you:

- If this is the first time playing to the TV from your phone/tablet, make sure they're both connected to the same WiFi network. (E.g. if your device’s connected to 4G instead of WiFi, it probably won't work).
- Make sure you have the latest version of Spotify in your device.
- Check all devices' software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturer for how to check and update the version software.
- Check you're not trying to play local files, as they aren’t supported by Connect.
Still not working?
- Restart the Spotify app.
- Close any other apps you’re not using.
- Restart your devices.
- Restart your WiFi.
- If possible, try a different WiFi connection on the device you're playing from (i.e. your mobile or tablet).

- Make sure you have the latest version of Spotify in your device.
- Check you're not trying to play local files, as they aren’t supported by Chromecast.

If the Spotify app on your car’s media system isn’t working, try these steps:
- Make sure your car’s connected to the internet.
- Use another app on your car's media system to check the internet connection is strong enough.
- Restart the app.
- Restart your car (by turning the ignition off then on again).
- If possible, delete the Spotify app then reinstall it.
If that didn’t work:
- Check your car’s media system for any updates to the Spotify app.
- Check with your car's stereo manufacturer for any updates to the firmware/operating system.
If the problem persists, reach out to your car/stereo manufacturer for further help.
If your Bluetooth connection isn't working:
- Make sure your device has sufficient power.
- Check the software for both devices is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturer for how to check and update the software version.
Note: To update your car’s media system, you may need to reach out to your car’s manufacturer. - Try turning Bluetooth off on other nearby Bluetooth devices you aren’t currently using.
Note: Most Bluetooth audio devices can’t connect to multiple source devices at a time. Be sure to disconnect any current connections to use it with another device. - Try closing the Spotify app on your device while establishing the connection.
Spotify Not Working With Sonos
Once you’ve checked the above, try restarting the connection:
- Turn off the Bluetooth on your car’s media system.
- With the Bluetooth settings on your mobile/tablet switched on, delete the information of the car.
Tip: The setting to delete is often called ‘forget’. - Turn Bluetooth off and back on for your mobile/tablet.
- Turn the Bluetooth on your car’s media system back on.
- Allow approximately 20 seconds for your mobile/tablet to detect your car. Once it appears, select it to pair.
- Open Spotify and play something. The sound should now come from your speaker.
Didn't work?
You may need to set your car as a default device or allow media sharing. Try looking for those options in the Bluetooth settings of the device you’re playing from.
If the problem persists, check out the support site for your devices’ manufacturers.
If your aux or USB cable isn't working, make sure it's the correct cable for your device. Even if it is, it's worth trying a different one in case it's damaged.
If you’re connecting via USB cable, make sure your car’s media system is updated to the latest firmware version.
